Gold Coast Philharmonic Orchestra

Follow on from the ANZAC Day ceremonies & join the Gold Coast Philharmonic Orchestra at the Robina Community Centre for an afternoon concert of great classics, music from the stage & screen & afternoon tea.
The 60 piece orchestra features Conductor Mark Turpin, winner of the Entertainment category of the 2009 Gold Coast Honours awards and our own Gold Coast professional & highly skilled amateur musicians.
The concert will include Crown Imperial March (Walton), Nimrod & March of the Mogul Emperors by Elgar, Schubert's March Militaire & the beautiful Adagio for Strings by Albinoni. Everyone will be clapping along with the Radetsky March by Strauss and more.
Concert Master, Margaret McAteer will perform Remembrances from the movie Schindler's List. Oboist Susanna Rigby will perform the incredible Gabriel's Oboe and Kate Peters will perform favourite songs such as The White Cliffs of Dover and In the Mood backed by the full orchestra.
The ticket price will include the concert and refreshments at interval with the musicians. Children are always welcome at Philharmonic Orchestra concerts and those under 12 are admitted free.
