The orchestral experience with the Gold Coast Philharmonic Orchestra features professional, semi-professional and highly skilled amateur musicians who choose to live and work on the Gold Coast and who are based here while enjoying international music careers, the opportunity to meet the soloists and musicians in exclusive pre-concert events and while enjoying refreshments at interval, raffles, a talented and knowledgable compere and a welcoming atmosphere for everyone including children, first timers and the experienced orchestral audience.

Twice the fun with the Gold Coast’s own Orchestra
Saturday 26 April at 7.30 pm & Sunday 27 April at 2.30 pm
ROBINA COMMUNITY CENTRE AUDITORIUM

The 60 piece orchestra will perform with featured soloists performing the Double Cello Concerto by Vivaldi with Elizabeth Spiller and Paticia Favaloro and to celebrate Mozart's anniversary, the Flute and Harp Concerto with Justin Hart, Flute and Katie Howes, Harp and Concerto No1 for Double Horn performed by Fiona Worsnop.

The program also includes the most famous love duo of all time Romeo and Juliet by Prokofiev, a clarinet duo with wind orchestra by Mendelssohn with Diane Sale and David LaMotte, the only two movements of Schubert's Unfinished Symphony, Rossini's William Tell Overture which tells the story of William Tell and his son and more.
